Comparison

Callix vs. Hyros, Gong,
and Triple Whale

Every tool in this comparison can tell you what happened. Only one lets what was said change what you spend money on.

Hyros knows the deal closed. It never opens the transcript.

Gong opens the transcript. Its output never leaves the sales org.

Triple Whale is built for a different business entirely.

At a glance.
Four tools, one table.

Every row is a capability as shipped today. Where a competitor markets something we do not do, the table says so.

Head to head

What Hyros is genuinely good at. Hyros is the best attribution layer on the market for long, call-driven funnels. Server-side tracking, persistent journeys, call tracking, subscription and LTV analysis, and conversion feedback to the ad platforms. If your problem is “Meta is under-reporting my sales,” Hyros solves that problem well and we’re not going to pretend otherwise.

Where it stops. Hyros measures the outcome of a conversation. Call booked, call held, call closed, revenue attributed. It never reads the conversation. It cannot tell you that your best-closing segment used a specific phrase to describe their problem, that a particular objection appeared in eleven of your last fifteen losses, or that the language in your winning calls is nowhere in your ad copy.

So Hyros can tell you creative #4 is producing cheaper closes. It can’t tell you why, and it can’t produce creative #5.

What Callix does instead. Callix runs on the same closed-loop principle — conversions back to the ad platform, revenue tied to source — and adds the layer Hyros structurally can’t: the transcript. Your avatars are built from the words your buyers actually used. Your ad copy is generated from the language that preceded a close, not from a brainstorm.

Pick Hyros instead if: attribution accuracy is your only problem, you have a marketing team already producing creative you’re happy with, and you have no interest in the conversation layer.

What Gong is genuinely good at. Gong defined revenue intelligence. Call recording, transcription, deal inspection, coaching workflows, scorecards, forecasting. If you have 100 reps and a dedicated enablement team building coaching programs around call data, Gong is the correct purchase and we are not competing for that budget.

Where it stops. Gong’s output is aimed entirely at the sales organization. Rep performance, deal risk, talk ratios, pipeline health. Nothing in Gong reaches your ad account. It doesn’t build creative, it doesn’t send conversion signals to Meta or Google, and it has no concept of cost per acquisition.

The gap is organizational, not technical. Gong tells your VP Sales which rep needs coaching. Nobody at Gong is trying to tell your media buyer which hook to test.

There’s also a cost shape worth naming. Gong doesn’t publish pricing. Public reporting in 2026 puts seats in the range of $1,200–$1,600 per user per year, on top of a mandatory annual platform fee reported between $5,000 and $50,000, plus implementation fees, seat minimums, and multi-year contracts. Capabilities that used to be bundled — forecasting, engagement — are now separately licensed modules.

What Callix does instead. Same source material, different destination. We analyze the call to change your marketing, not to grade your rep. And the pricing is published: $250/seat/month standard, four-seat minimum. No platform fee, no implementation charge.

Pick Gong instead if: your bottleneck is rep performance at scale, you have an enablement function, and your marketing already knows what converts.

What Triple Whale is genuinely good at. For a Shopify brand, Triple Whale is an excellent analytics operating system: first-party pixel, blended ROAS, cohort LTV, creative performance, post-purchase surveys, and an AI analyst you can query in plain language.

Where it stops. It’s built for ecommerce, and mostly for Shopify specifically. Support outside the Shopify ecosystem is meaningfully thinner. More fundamentally, Triple Whale’s model assumes the conversion is a checkout. There’s no call, no discovery, no objection handling, no rep — so there’s no conversation to analyze, because in their world there isn’t one.

What Callix does instead. We’re built for the opposite motion: the deal that takes four touches, a booked call, and a human conversation before revenue exists.

Pick Triple Whale instead if: you sell on Shopify and your customers buy without talking to anyone. You’re not our buyer, and that’s fine.

“Can’t I just run Hyros
and Gong together?”

This is the real objection, and it deserves a real answer.

You can. Plenty of teams do. What you get is two systems that never speak to each other and a human in the middle doing the translation by hand.

Gong holds the transcripts. Hyros holds the revenue and the ad data. The question that actually matters — what did the people who converted profitably say, and how do we put that in an ad — requires joining those two datasets. That join is manual, it happens in a spreadsheet, and in practice it happens roughly never. It’s the same problem Malcolm had at Whop: too many calls to review, and every manual review carries the reviewer’s bias.

Callix is that join, running automatically. One system where the transcript, the deal outcome, and the ad spend live in the same place, so the intelligence is a product output rather than somebody’s weekend project.

There’s a cost argument too. Gong at ten seats plus Hyros lands well into five figures annually before anyone has written a single ad.

Where we’re narrower.

A comparison page that wins every row is a page nobody believes. Three things we do not do.

We are not a coaching platform.

No scorecards, no rep leaderboards, no forecast roll-ups. If that’s the purchase, buy Gong.

We are not an ecommerce analytics suite.

No Shopify-native checkout analytics, no post-purchase surveys.

We are newer.

Hyros and Gong have years of edge cases handled that we’re still working through. What we have instead is a shorter path from “you had a call” to “here’s the ad.”

Competitor pricing reflects publicly reported estimates as of 17 September 2026. Gong and Hyros do not publish list pricing. Callix pricing is list.
